Official Record Toss

Rules:
1.) 8x10 frame provided by Decorative Art and Frame. DAF is the only frame provider certified by UFTI for Record Tosses. All UFTI Record Tosses will be measured in feet. UFTI Officials' decisions are final. Disputes must be submitted in blood to the UFTI Board of Directors.
2.) Each frame will be assembled with Titebond Wood Glue and three Cassese V-Nails in each corner.
3.) Once a moulding profile is discontinued or retired from the UFTI Record Toss moulding quiver, the Competition is over, with regards to that particular profile. The furthest toss with that particular moulding will hold the UFTI Record for eternity.
4.) A glove may be worn on the throwing hand.
5.) Distances are measured from the edge of the Frame Throwing Circle, normally designated by the point where the dirt meets the grass on the baseball diamond where the Record Toss is taking place, to the furthest point at which the frame lands from the Circle.
6.) If the frame explodes upon impact, the Toss will be measured from the Circle to the largest frame fragment. Officials decisions regarding fragment size are final.
7.) If the Thrower steps outside the throwing Circle after the Toss, the Toss shall be ruled ineligible for UFTI Record status. If the Frame survives impact, a re-throw shall be allowed. If the Frame explodes upon impact, that is just too bad. Official decisions regarding foot fouls are final.
8.) Each 8x10 frame shall cost $10 or whatever DAF/UFTI deems to be the retail cost of the frame less 25%. UFTI normally utilizes less expensive moulding that did not sell for UFTI Record Tosses. Expensive moulding belongs on walls, not on UFTI certified toss sights. Tossers may keep the remnants of their frames, but UFTI World Record Tossed Frames may be requisitioned by the UFTI Hall of Fame for public display.
9.) Once five participants have ordered their official UFTI Record Frame Toss Frames and paid their $10 entry fee (all of which will be donated to this year's charitable cause), the UFTI Record Toss will take place whenever the five participants and the UFTI Officials mutually agree to conduct a Record Toss.
10.) Frame Throwing can be dangerous to spectators, so all spectators must remain behind the backstop during UFTI Record Toss events.
