According to the upgrade rules as determined by the NCC, a Category 5 track rider must compete safely on three Friday Nights at Northbrook or a combination of 3 nights of racing at
Northbrook and/or Kenosha to upgrade to Category 4/Thursday Night Racing. This means three nights of racing a track bike in the USCF 4/5 Track category or USCF Junior Track category.
